going in backward chronological order.. i was complimented by my dearest pal rachael on the picture in the previous post. it seems like the gratification i got by taking the pictures was multiplied many times over with her reaction. thanks rachael and eilene for the comments and camera respectively. also kind on topic while straying away from the academic side of life.. anna got a higher score than me in the brain game and her boyfriend quoc even higher. so she sent me on a mission to beat his score. after a few more tries i got six points under anna's score. now im going to do this until i get better at it to prepare for my crusade sent by anna.
at tsa, it was an official meeting and for the majority of the time it was the higher level thinking processes taking place among the club. such as the money planning, fund raising, and prices. all centered around the same subject. kim also confirmed all of the events for be totally final so i am completely devoted to the lego event, airplane event, tech bowl event, and action figure event. (in order of importance to me) i did arrive thirty minutes after the club start time of six o' clock because my dad kept me and eilene in the car while he was finishing up work.
while in the car i was mostly bored but i did ponder a math question.. which i will type out at the end. my dad picked me and eilene up from school because we went to literary club/ lit club and save darfur club, respectively for me and eilene. it seems as though we are actually getting somewhere with the lit magazine.
during first to mid-third period, the american math competition was giving. it is basically a uber hard math test meant to pick a single handful of the country. number eighteen is actually the question i was doing in the car from this test.
oh nevermind i lost the paper but.. i do remember the question, if billy takes 9 hours to brick a new chimney and jenn takes 10 hours to brick the same chimney and with their combined effort they talk a bit so the overall rate is lowered by ten bricks per hour and they both completed the chimney in five hours.. how many bricks were needed as their total to build the chimney.
